I’m no longer very active on social media, so it’s been a while since I felt the giddy rush of affirmation! 
But since I posted my most recent story it has gotten over three hundred reads in under three days and a whole lot of comments. So color me dopamine and serotonin flush!
I’m finally finding some more time to write. I was inspired to finish writing this story by Bicyclette’s Sci-fi Contest III, but missed the deadline by 40 minutes (as they say, read the fine print!)
By the way, I began writing this story almost a year ago based on some real life events that many of us share ever since COVID changed how the world meets. I hope you enjoy it!
It’s probably not the best thing that I need the motivation of a group activity (Jinglemass) and a multiple-day-off holiday to get me writing again. But this is where I am, and that’s how it is. I Hope you’ve all had a great holiday season so far, and best wishes for a safe, healthy, happy and prosperous New Year!

Chapter 6 was a challenge, but I am really happy with how it developed. Having parallel characters as well as situations is both constraining and a great opportunity for a few laughs! In the next chapter we finally get back to Celestia's PoV, and more is revealed of her (and Luna's) past as well as their place in the universe, and how they shaped politics and life in Equestria.
