I turn 30 on 7/10.
Three decades of all these organs pumping, synapses firing, muscles relaxing and contracting, cells dividing and dying...
Thirty years of chemical and electrical impulses without a fatal glitch; but this past year was particular rough.
I had a close call with something that was ready to escalate into renal failure a few months ago, and a real bad day where I had a bad lapse in memory and took more than twice the max dosage of sleeping aids, and yet everything still works.
And that's just the physical stuff. I think my emotional stress reached record highs in year 29.
I think this is gonna be my year.
Or at least...I'm gonna make it be my year.
I kinda feel that 29 deserves a full bodied 'Fuck You' after what happened.
