2. You know, with them dragging Michael Peña into this... somehow, I'm pretty sure that this will be the first MLP Movie where someone will legimetly die. Other than Shawn Bean seeing Michael Peña die, or even a Character with the Characteristics of Michael Peña die, is the actual selling point of Michael Peña since 'Battle: Los Angeles'.
Also, does anyone know what Song is playing in the background from 1:07 and onward?

I actually like the CGI, for me it fits with the cartoon look but at the same time makes it feel more alive.
And we saw Sombra die previously (unless you consider the comics to take place in the same universe as the show, which I don't). And I'm pretty sure Zecora died in the changeling-verse in the season 5 finale, it cut away as Chrysalis dealt the blow.
I know that I have not seen the series in a good time but Where is luna and celestia?

See but the real question is. Will it be on Netflix?
4585956 1. The problem here is that it makes the Main Character look so damn young that it's hard to associate them with the Ponies we all know and love.
2. They nearly killed Sombra and I count him as alive because Sea-Ponies and Pirates are present and therefore Comics are actually Canon for this Movie. Zecora died off-screen and that Timeline was terminated so that doesn't count.

1) They are young. Early twenties by this point is still young.
2) I still don't think that, so what if the movie has pirates and seaponies? I don't see why both the comics and the show separately can't have the same species living in their worlds, especially as I see them as both canon but separate realities (kinda like Equestria girls and that guardians of harmony is another separate example).

As stoked as i am to see this, i'm betting it'll land in the same sad situation that most movies of TV shows do. It'll have literally no impact in the actual show, nobody will ever bring it up, there will be no indication of when it actually happened, and people will end up in a battle over whether it's 'canon' or not.
Other than that though, i'll be looking to see if Luna gets a throne in the show. She deserves one.
