The Best Birthday Present!

Hey guys!

I just have to point this out because life is really cool sometimes.

Yeah, the MLP movie is coming out on my birthday, and I already have plans with at least 6 of my friends to go see it opening day. It's gonna kick some serious ass.

I'll have fanfic related news later, but i had to share that.

No way! That's amazing! I'll officially be a quarter of a century old this year (25), so I'm becoming an old fart before I know it. But this will be an exciting birthday, no doubt.

I love this poster, and am super hype for the movie, but...how do you feel about the leading name discourse, out of curiosity? I've heard some people complain that the Mane Six's VAs aren't getting top billing. Personally, I get that their names seem a bit unrecognizable to "normal" society, but...it's still a little bit sad. Not anything to get too angry over, but still a little sad.

It is what it is. I'm just glad they kept the voice actors from the show for the movie. There's at least that.

Yeah. I feel like I'm too thankful for that to get worked up about it. Some people were worked up about Songbird's existence considering that Sapphire Shores and Coloratura already fill the "singer" role, but meh. I'm on the opposite side of the spectrum--I've got a couple of singer OCs and would really like to look into the Equestrian music industry.

Some people just worry too much in this fandom.

I plan on going to see it, but my sisters always tell me I shouldn't go because I will be the only male in the theater. I just tell them I don't care.
