GeneCo. A scientific development company that was founded back in the early seventies in the United States of Equestria. The company was founded by John L. Discord, who is hailed for his scientific genius in multiple fields of research on genetics, biology, etc. GeneCo has a reputation of developing medicines for more lethal illnesses, developing the embryonic inhibitor chip for Transmutants, including its predecessor, the inhibitor pack. The company has made strives to perfect humanity as a whole, acting as what critics claim as 'The Modern Day Christ', with the development of artificial organs and cybernetics to allow to lame to walk, the blind to see, and the deaf to hear. But there have been rumors that within the walls of this good Samaritan of a company, there are unethical and illegal experiments going on. Specifically, rumors of GeneCo creating cross-species experiments. However, these rumors have no substantial evidence, and there has been no investigation on the company in place. GeneCo has been leading to great advances in research, and may even be the key to cure all of humanity of its worse illnesses.
