As the ending of Rainboom Revolution implies, The Canterlot Chronicles is FAR from over. However, before starting Consequences - the next episode in the series - I am going to be taking a hiatus, for several different reasons:
1. Burn out (Rainboom Revolution was at least 5 months coming out, on top of the two jobs I'm working now!)
2. All the downvotes Rainboom Revolution got (not quite sure why - was it the Mature rating? The fact I can't properly character tag a story like that under FIM's system? Someone want to comment with a clue for me?)
3. The fact the next story involves the past of Applejack's family, which I already know is central to an episode planned for this season of the show - I don't want to have to do hasty rewrites of my story idea based on what that episode reveals.
Although I will not stop working completely (there's still the supplemental materials to do!), there won't be a new story until at least the end of the show's mid-season break due to the aforementioned circumstances. I hope you guys out there can understand why I'm doing this, and hope you have a great summer break! See you sometime in the fall!
I wish I knew a definitive answer for you. It might of been as simple as taking some of the characters in directions people didn't like
