Well, I was just offered to do a colab for a crossover: The world of the Thousand Year Change vs Fall of Equestria. The idea being Princess Luna manages to escape a hellish world by being sent to another reality where the war between Equestria and the Lunar Republic ended only a few months ago. By doing this, the fallen princess of the night has allowed the carabu to enter this new world.
It is highly doubtful that I will have a hand in this since I know very little about the world of the Fall. What do you all think?

I've only ever heard of Fall of Equestria from sideways comments and...
...I'm not... sure. It feels like too silly a combo to be dramatic and too serious a combo to be a comedy. Honestly, I'd probably not go for it.
ehh I don't think you wanna do this. I mean do you like doing grimdark, gore, and sex? Cause that's what ALOT to almost all the fall of equestrian IS. I mean if you want to stretch yourself as a writer go on ahead, but looking at the works you have published your really not into grimdark or gore.

I'd offer a crossover with one of my own worlds, over that.
I doubt I'll read it, not because I dislike FoE, but because I know it'll end up being a complete curbstomp on the Caribou and I've already read a dozen other stories like that.
This should sum up my opinion on this:
Yeah...You might want to avoid doing anything with that universe.
Fall of Equestria (not to be confused with Fallout Equestria) is ...kind of despicable , really.
Pretty much anything is better to crossover with.

For a crossover I recommand with Halo verse or Mass Effect. Or a nother scfi pony verse, But i would realy like to see the NLR meets a space faring Humanity.

It's not really so much as dislike so much as "Oh dear g-WHY?!?!?! WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO THE PONIES YOU SICK F@#$?!?!?!" Is our general reaction to reading about it, or just hearing some of what happens in it. The only real crossover with this fic I would ever recommend... is one where your protagonist goes on a caribou massacre/genocide while also saving the ponies that are enslaved.

there is a saying everyone is a critic but don't delve too much on the negatives.
I only know Fall from second hand sources, but what I do know leads me to recommend not doing a crossover. Fall of Equestria is for people with a mdom rape fetish.

Actually, this would be the opposite, it would be the Nazis curb-stomping Iron Man with no strenuous effort, and then forcing him watch (&/or participate in) "Pepper" Potts being gang-raped into mind-break submission.
Fall of Equestria stories are generally of the "Nazis win" themes.
Fall of Equestria is pretty much the deepest end of the Dark end of the MLP fan-fiction fetish (if it could be called that) spectrum.
Ask yourself this, "Would you be comfortable with writing out the idea(s) of..."
1. Violent Rape (in-general).
2. Mutilation...
- a. Pegasus wings being amputated, while the victim is fully awake. As additional humiliation, the pegasi amputees forced to watch as their wings are burned; or in some of the more extreme fan-fictions, being forced to eat their own severed wings.
- b. Unicorn horns being sawed off; again, while the victim is fully awake. And unicorn females often being anally raped by the remains of their severed horn; in some cases, forced to wear their severed horn around their neck to they can be anally raped with it yet again later.
- c. Earth ponies having their leg tendons partly-severed, and having iron nails bolted into their hooves and leg-bones? So the wounds never fully heal, and the iron severs their magic connection to the earth. And of course, the continual humiliation of having to often go to their knees, often in public, for the momentary relief from the constant pain.
3. Forced Body Modifcation...
- a. Male resistors to the Caribou mind-control being transformed into females.
- b. Females being transformed into "bimbo" forms; meaning oversize breasts, weak limbs (for less rape-resistance), and "biologically conditioned" to wire their brains to feel pleasure at being raped/dominated.
4. "Gary Stu" victories for the Caribou... The general route for the Fall of Equestria fan-fiction highway paved by, "Dainn wins. Dainn always wins." Does not even have to be a plausible method, the Caribou win simply by their sheer "male superiority".
- a. Having the Caribou invade the Lunar Republic and be immune to the Lunars' technologies, a la Conversion Bureau technology-negation effect? It has been done, the Caribou's anti-magic armor & weapons rendering them just as immune to lasers and rail-guns and even nuclear missiles/detonations.
-b. Or even the vacuum of space? ("How are they breathing?!?" "Male Superiority has no need for spacesuits!")
5. Shadow Blade raping Twilight Sparkle? Helping gang-rape (Lunar Republic) Princess Luna? Raping Scootaloo?
And these are just off-hand examples of what you would be signing up for, in putting your foot into Fall of Equestria territory. I am sure there is plenty more concepts I am missing.
The point is, if you are not comfortable with writing out some/any of these ideas, then you probably should not.

Well, the way it was pitched to me was that the AU of the Thousand Year Change would be invaded by those bastards and a battle would ensue with Luna's forces going there with the intent to free them. It was going to be another curb stomp where the bad guys simply bit off more than they could chew. Luna's tech just thrashing them
fall of equestria is a silly rape/bondage/torture/mind control porno who wish to be more...and fail. Basically the main rule of this setting is : the bad guys wins. It doesn't matter if they make incredibly stupid mistakes, both in conquering and dominating equestria that anyone with to bits of logic can point. They are literallly an army of gary stus.
One of it's main writer, schorl tourmaline got so fed up with this she decided to quit while doing an awsome fuck - you chapter finalle who shows everything thats wrong in the setting, followed by an explanation/apology letter (beacause she nice like that) where she explain why she did this and the principal problems of the setting.
