Inspiration and where to find it

It's a funny thing, creativity. You can ride a high for a while, then life and family and paying bills gets in the way, then the instant you get free time again the motivation has gone. A little while later it turns out all you needed was to find a fandom to share with those you love and a school holiday's worth of having ponies inserted into everything.

And that's the abridged story of how a week with mostly my five year old and my best friend/unofficial sister for company helped me find my writing and drawing groove again. You're best off not asking why I started off expressing this with a shipping fic tho.
