Thanks for Flight! · 8:04am Jun 1st, 2017
Just wanted to put up an entire blog post to thank this guy for writing this.
Dystopia, dystopia. But he did a very good job of making a story about a character in it. When looking at something like this, it really helps the gears in my head get turning, and inspires me to work on my own fiction some more. I know him IRL and he asked me to read it, and I'm very glad I've finally gotten around to doing it.

I feel like I've got a much smoother picture of the AWA world in my head, now, just by getting a taste of a dystopia in another fic, though the majority of the thanks probably goes to inspiring me to write again - because dystopias can sure make for some interesting stories.
Alright, here's a goal: have my re-write done by the 18th. It's ambitious, especially given my history, but as they say, "shoot for the moon, and if you miss, you'll land among the stars." It's not pie-in-the-sky ambitious, and I know exactly how to get there every step of the way, and I'm perfectly fine with failing if I don't get there - even writing a few more chapters would be dramatically better than I've been doing.
So, yeah. Re-release... By June 18th, because that's when I go to attend a rocketry competition and I'll be doing engineering stuff 24/7 until the 25th, and won't be back home until the 26th whereabouts. Then I'll have the entire month of July!
In the meantime, I need to decide what to do exactly... I'm thinking of moving the current incarnation to Google Docs, clearing the current chapters and re-posting the new chapters in their place once they're done. But nothing is moving or changing until they're done.
