Writing is Hard

I'm only now starting to realise how much writing entails. Sometimes it takes me a week just to write a single chapter for my story. I find writing and editing all in one go takes too much time and focused effort. So I tend to space out the work over a few days to make the writing process just a little bit easier. Sometimes I'll think I'm finally content with the finished product only to get one sentence in and find approximately sixteen errors I overlooked. It's kind of disheartening. I shall not give up, however. And I've finally gotten back into the groove of things.

Writing tends to be a random sort of thing, at least in my experience. It requires a very certain mindset and mood, depending on what you want to write. There have been days when I'm feeling incredibly productive, but then I sit down at my laptop, and I can't think of anything. Sometimes the opposite will happen. Regardless, it's a lot of fun and I always try to find time in my schedule for it.
