There's something very interesting about a site that exists purely to host fanfiction for a very particular franchise and to find it as sophisticated as FIMFiction is.
I mean this isn't even an "MLP fanfic site", it's SPECIFICALLY a Gen 4 MLP fanfic site. Granted Gen 4 is probably bigger than MLP has ever been in its illustrious history but even so, we've only had it around since 2010.
The sophistication of FIMFiction is incredible. Not even Fanfiction.net, the longest-running fanfic site I know of, has the depth and range of features of this site. WYSWG editors, robust tracking features, lots of social functionality...
At some point, when the inevitable end of MLP Gen 4 happens, whoever made this site should go on to build a new site like this with a broader scope. This website is damn good, bravo.

Well, I do recall having FIMFiction spawn off a more general sister-site being a plan the staff had at some point...
