Me: It's that time of year again. Been hacking up my lungs til I could come in. Gimme the usual allergy meds.
Doctor: I zink... No. I vant you to try nohmal cough syrup. (Please note, my doctor isn't German, I just like to imagine that all doctors secretly are)
Me: yo, doc... We tried this last year, that cyanide-tasting mess just about made it worse.
Doc: Haf you tried ze gwape flavahed kind?
Me: Of... No.
Doc: try it under come back to me.
Me after choking down the syrup after waking up coughing this morning: How the fuck is this shit GRAPE?!
As an aside, the medicine is doing wonderfully at doing fuck all.
