Not really big on fanfic writing, but when I'm in the mood I'll jot something down from time to time. I'd much rather frequent sites like YouTube, DeviantArt, and Facebook

Injured Little Bird · 10:58am May 11th, 2017

Five minutes ago, I rushed downstairs after hearing my mom shouting my name for help. I went into the laundry room to find that our cat had brought in a little bird. We think that the cat has punctured the poor things wing, and we don;t think it will survive. However, we've wrapped it in some warm cloth and we're going to keep an eye on the little fellow. At least if it passes away it won't die alone.

Quite a sweet little bird as well. Even chirped at my mom as she held it in her hand.

Why must the world be so cruel...

Nature is a cruel mother. She favors the strong and casts out the weak.

IN THIS WORLD, IT'S KILL OR BE KILLED

Also, why do you not like Mandopony? I don't know anything about him, but he does sing well:

So it's been over an hour, and the little guy is still breathing. We've placed him in a box and covered him up to keep him warm. I would love it if we could save just one bird. We've had other birds brought in by the cat before but they never lived. If we could save this one bird it would be fantastic. My mom loves birds. She puts out food and water for them every day, as do I. I swear they sing for her sometimes too.

It died ten minutes ago.

I'm a bit upset right now because we honestly thought this one would make it. At the very least, it died while sleeping. It suffered no pain.

4528543 I hope it entertains the angels with the birdsong that we shall never hear.

You've read the Calvin and Hobbes storyline about the injured raccoon, right?

You're a good person, Unique.

4528818 Don't know what you mean, mate. What is that?

Ah yes, the cruelty of the world, an interesting topic. Some blame Satan, some say it's just natural selection and statistical chance, and some say both. Others just try not to think about it. I used to be part of all the mentioned groups, but now I jut don't care about anything. Except hats. Specifically fez' and bowties.
