Millennia before the alicorns came to Equis a cataclysmic event caused the lands of the North and West to combine into what is now Equestria, when the Alicorns Tsarina Catherine Red Star, King Ronald and his wife Queen Sarah, and Princesses Luna and Celestia consolidated their rule together and conquered tribes of barbarians with their superior knights, now in Mediaeval Equestria knights fight barbarian warriors and low life criminals in an arena to the death.......of course with the knights being taller and stronger with better armor and weapons they never lose, of course the royalty will never let a knight die since they can't be replaced as easily as a barbarian warrior, knights are rewarded with wine and women for victories but of course there are female knights too but none really care what their reward is so long as they get it, ponies from around Equestria travel to Canterlot to watch the blood sport and cheer on the knights, in this fic you'll see what spectators don't get to see, you gonna get to see how the knights train and those who advise them as well as the fight's and even the barbarians tribes who integrated into society but still breed warriors for the arena, are you ready?
