A good story displays a moral, the best ones attach you to the characters who display them.

New Chapter Out, and New Cover!

Background shamelessly stolen from an actual SoT book
I'd recommend giving that one a read!

    Featured?!

Y'know for a moment there I was scared I'd lost my touch when it came to writing after I took those years on hiatus... this is a really encouraging sign.

Thank you all so much for showing me I've still got it! It's reassuring, and more than a little flattering. Don't think I've really processed it yet, since I basically just woke up.

    Good to be Back

I won't promise that I'll be able to return to my old projects immediately, or even at all. But I did mean it when I said I was coming back! I've spent too long not doing anything about my passion for writing, and that needs to change. :twilightblush:

So, in I come with a brand new story to tell! Please, come and tell me what you think of the beginning to the Coves of Courage!

    The Old Bones Creak

The pegasus' eyes fluttered open blearily. How long had it been since they closed? Weeks? Months? His coat felt uneven and unkempt, his mane was longer than he remembered, and thick with tangles he could feel without even moving yet. When his eyes adjusted to the low light around him, the dusk seeping in through a boarded up window; everything he had known was coated in moss and lichen. Vines

Oyy.... · 1:50am May 8th, 2017

Well, I had a somewhat relaxing Sunday at church today, but all weekend my head has felt like I'm getting over a massive hangover. (Don't ask how I know what that feels like...) I haven't been able to get too much work done in the past few days, but when I did get it done I was able to do about 1,050 words per try, so at least that's something.

On the bright side, I did finally get to catch another DoodledPony Livestream on YouTube, and made a couple new friends on the chat. (Never got to see if they were on here, though...) Hopefully I'll be able to catch them sometime later, or something.

*Can I cameo in your blogs again?*

Soon, Pearl. Soon.
Hey, who knows, you might even get your own part in a story someday. I dunno.

Anyways, just wanted to update you guys. My head hurts too much to edit this post a lot, so I'm gonna go rest for a bit. And in case you missed it: Please Read This.

Until Next Time, God Bless You!
Love You Guys (And Girls)!

^Take this image, replace the cranky snarl with a tired, mildly irritated, almost motherly smile, and you've got me right now^
(And yes, I did say "Almost Motherly". I've been told that's what my smile looks like when I'm this tired.) :twilightblush:

I hope your headache goes away

Sorry you have this headache, buddy. :ajsleepy: I hope the dwarf mining in your head gets the message very soon (at least, that's the image I get when I get a big headache).

May God go with you too

Thanks.
Ha! That got a chuckle. I always pictured a Sumo ringing a gong, or a roman candle, or something. :rainbowlaugh:

Awww, Amethyst. *hugs* I'll be praying that you feel better soon.

Soon, Pearl. Soon.
