very, very, very experimental fic continues its slow progress as the deadline for bicyclette's sci-fi contest draws near. these chapters are about on-par with what if in terms of length, but oh boy have they been an interesting experience to write.

hey hey btw i've got a (couple of) public minecraft server(s)!

yeah so anyway here is my webbed site lol. there's an MC Classic server for building whatever, and an MC Beta 1.7.3 server for playing survival. I might eventually also put up a modern vanilla server as well, though given how I'm hosting a bunch of servers already for friends and a couple of discord servers, idk if the little slab of a PC I'm using to host 'em all would be able to manage lol.

Random Facts #84 - About Me edition · 2:11am May 7th, 2017

Alright now. We haven't done an about me post in a little while, so let's have a go at it!

For the past few weeks, I've found that it's nice to take the weekends off from updating fics, which is why I've generally been updating Mondays-Thursdays with occasional Friday updates.

My best laptop that I take with me when I'm on the go is actually a single-core Celeron laptop from around the time when Windows 7 was still the newest thing in existence. The one laptop I have that's newer than it has a dual-core AMD A4 APU with radeon graphics, but can barely even load up Youtube without lag. Ironically, it was made just around 2014 as a netbook of sorts if I remember correctly, and yet a single-core CELERON beats it.

Yes, I know that Netbooks generally suck. Tell that to middle school me back when I bought the "craptop" during a Black Friday spree.

I have random stashes of computer parts all about my room.

Since the tablet I've had has a dead touchscreen, I've found out that its keyboard case apparently operates on USB. Guess who's been tinkering with pieces of USB hubs and trackpad mice torn from dead laptops?
