New chapter is 2,200+ words so far. It's very dialogue-heavy at the moment (1,500 words split between two conversations alone) and although I'm trying to trim it down to make it more concise, the chapter's probably still gonna be mostly talking even after editing.
If things go as planned, you should see something of a breakthrough in the understanding of how humans interact with some of the various manifestations of magic on Equis. So, lore.
No promises on timeframe, but it shouldn't be as long as the wait between the last two chapters.
