Hello everyone/everything. Flinty here, with some news about "The Dancer and the Diplomat".
I'm afraid progress on our opus magnus has been slow, lately. Part of it has to do with our schedules: my cowriter has both school and a job to deal with. The other part has to to do with timezones: I live in Washington State, and my cowriter lives in Australia. As you can imagine, this makes things a wee bit difficult.
Don't worry, though. We haven't given up on the fic; it's just going to take a little longer than you might have anticipated. In the meantime, I'll try to sate your appetite for horsewords. Just hang in there, okay?

4515722 while there may be amorphous, sentient (or semi sentient) blobs (see triglypuff), the gender less or trans or alternative genders are not supported by science (intersex and hermaphrodites don't count, as they are well enough documented and studied to be solidly confirmed and not related to the trans movement). Results are inconclusive at best and require more research (according to the actual researchers). Any argument otherwise made without solid proof bisides "feels" will be henceforth ignored. I thought my inclusion of "Sentient Amorphous Blobs" sufficiently implied that the first item was less "Person with atypical mental gender identity" and more "androgynous mutant born with no reproductive organs"
Also this argument is nonsensical and I'm going to stop now
