NLD Print Run Updates -- A Slight Change of Plan! · 3:27am Apr 26th, 2017

The REMASTER edit pass has been finished! Things are off for a final typo hunt, which means that stuff is definitely going to be done well before the deadline. Originally, I had intended to do some strange double invoice thing to separate print costs and shipping costs. Given that I live in IL, however, I discovered that this becomes a pain in the ass on the tax front. Essentially, the nitty gritties have changed slightly, but I now have the numbers on the true costs of print, taxes, etc. See point 6! :3

1. If you wish to order a copy of NLD send me (Wing) a PM with your Paypal email address and some PM title that is indicative that you are placing an order. Yes, we're doing this stuff through Paypal invoices. You have until May 14, 2017 to place your order. For clarity, I have created a countdown clock: HERE!

2. If you would also like to order a copy of A State of Darkness, say that you want both in your PM, or I will just assume you mean No Longer Displaced.

3. For reference, the cost of printing ASoD is $7.17. The cost of printing NLD will be $5.45. Again, I will state that this is obviously a non-profit venture. We are charging only for the cost to print the book, my stupid taxes, and potentially shipping.... which brings me to point 4.

4. The original intent was to deliver printed books at BronyCon. That is still the idea. However, I was approached by quite a few folks who wanted books to be shipped. Please indicate in your order email if you are doing a BronyCon pick-up, or if you want things shipped to you.

5. Once the order period ends, I will send out magical invoices. Sober and I will review a set of proofs before we pull the trigger on the main order. He will be here in June to sign books, and trust me when I say that I will probably write a letter in your copies, especially if we talk on a regular basis. :P For those who need a shipping option, please at least tell me your general whereabouts in advance. Shipping within the US is pretty straight forward. Shipping internationally is a pain, but doable. For those who will be going the BronyCon pick-up route. I'll see your asses in August. :P

6. NEW! When all is said and done, the cost chart works out to be the following:
NLD Only (BronyCon Pickup): $5.79
ASoD+NLD (BronyCon Pickup): $13.41
For shipping within the US, I have decided to just charge a flat rate of $3. This should be a little less than what I'll have to pay, unless my tired physics brain screwed up the math. I don't mind taking a little hit though, tbh, so as long as I'm in the ball park, I don't care. That being said, when that's all added up with sadpanda tax:
NLD Only (US Shipping): $8.98
ASoD+NLD (US Shipping): $16.60
Concrete numbers! Yay! If you are placing an international order, just tell me where you are so I can get a reasonable price for your invoice.

Recap. If you want a physical copy of NLD or ASoD, send Wing a PM indicating so. Also state if you will be picking the book up at BronyCon of if you need a shipping option. The details of how the payments for those things are above, and the deadline for placing an order is May 14, 2017.
