It took a while to get my writing juices flowing, so after releasing two stories of questionable taste and two more with an E rating slapped on them, I think it's time to focus on ongoing stories. I've been neglecting them and keeping some faithful readers in the lurch. I need to remedy that.
I, Chrysalis should be wrapped up in two or three chapters. I want to try and get that finished before the end of May. There is one more major fight scene to do, then the aftermath.
The Halfling is also nearly complete. Three more chapters and an epilogue should wrap it up. Look for it to come to a conclusion in June.
My Daughter Chrysalis is a bit of a headache for me. This is what happens when you write by the seat of your pants. Being an organic writer (because I'm lazy), that one probably is not going to end anytime soon. I do want to try and squeeze out a chapter between now and June. I'll keep you guys posted.
Catherine the Great will go on. It's probably going to turn into a longer story than I had thought. I don't even have a dozen changelings named out of the 47. I need to get Catherine in there more often, since she's the title character. I just have a difficult time writing children. It's something I need to learn to do. It should be a good exercise for me.
Well, that's about it. If ya'll have any questions or concerns, feel free to abuse the comment section below! Just don't hit it in the face.
Obligatory Pony/Changeling Pic
So is the halfling a point for staging a new story, or more a one shot kind of deal with how little is left?
4509562 At this point in time, I am not planning a sequel, given what I have on my plate.
I love how Chrysalis is all 'what the hell do I do with this thing?' in that picture.
