Or at least its western release. It's been almost eleven years for Japan, but that's a whole other story in and of itself.
If you didn't know, my very first Pokemon game was Pokemon Pearl for the Nintendo DS. Me being the stupid little kid I was, I wasn't very good at it. But that doesn't mean I wasn't fascinated by each and every amazing monster I found along my travels. Even a shiny Geodude at one point! Granted for a grand total of 13 seconds, but... yeah, story for another day.
I played Platinum too and my love for Pokemon evolved straight into Black and White, my favorite generation to date. But if it wasn't for Diamond and Pearl I never would be speaking to you right here and now. Again, story for another day, but it all comes down to Pokemon for me. And now with ten years of Diamond and Pearl with us, I think it's finally time for a remake.
So, Nintendo, what say you? Fans have requested it for a long time now and I think it's finally time to buckled down and get to work. So impress me. Show me your Diamond and Pearl remakes!

I remember when these games first came out, Pokémon diamond was the first Pokémon game I owned. It was a great experience I wish I could relive and hopefully will when the remakes come out.
