Now then, let's talk villains. What, you think I'm just going to use MLP villains and call it good? Well, I've got one word for you:

Now, while some of my Pokemon-turned-gijinka human villains are still under devlopement, I do know of at least one that I'll be using:

Hypno. Come on, picture it. We could have some Pied Piper action going on here, where Hypno hypnozites people into doing horrible things for him, like murder, kidnapping, you get the idea.

Okay, not gonna lie, I can see where you're coming from, with Hypno; subtle, puppetmaster villain, we pretty much have next to nothing about, as seemingly unconnected things start happening.

Things start getting a bit of an off tone for ten/twenty chapter, progressively getting more off-note as times rolls on, starting off with a line here or there, once or twice a chapter that comes off as slightly weird, or out of character, in that fringe horror way, until it becomes impossible to ignore. Then, we get hit with a shocker; someone alien to Equestria is messing with the perceptions of various characters! Eventually, we get teased for the identity, only seeing a new victim, watching as the pendulum swings, and we hear an off voice in their mind...

Awesome.
