Remastered chapter twelve is live! · 7:39pm Apr 16th, 2017
The thing is almost done! Four more chapters and then the epilogue and I can finally be finished with Rise's remastering.
Until then, since the chapter deals a lot with Celestia (and her *cough* frank discussion with Tyranny) let's talk about her in the season seven premier. Spoilers below the break for those who haven't seen it yet. Maybe...
While it wasn't a full episode centered on her, I think this is the most character building we've seen out of Celestia in a single episode. Nicole Oliver nailed Celestia on this episode, especially when she laughed. Not just a chuckle, or a humored guffaw, this was a full-bellied laugh; and Nicole nailed it. My heart practically melted listening to her.
Then we get the flashback of Celestia during the times when Twilight was in her school and how close she came to Twilight. The very worry of sending her away out of necessity and the difficulty she had in doing it was touching. Very much so like a parent letting their child go for the first time. She didn't want to but knew she had to when she looked up at the moon and saw Luna's visage. This gave Celestia some of the development she deserved.
And the reveal of her ulterior motives behind the friendship letters...
Here, have cute Celestia image.
What did you guys think of the premier? Also, Trixie continues to impress. Not only is she bold for tackling the hard stuff first, but we've learned that she is durable. She tanked a hurled cart from Bulk Biceps who's aim could only be described as soft-scoping in its accuracy...
