Greetings every pony! I'm chinchilla king Xam, and this is my first blog post on FIMFiction! *applause*
Ponyville High chapter 3 is taking me a little longer to write than I expected due to my desire to have a dramatic scene between Luna and Octavia, so mix that with everything else on my plate and you get days of delays! But fear not, I'll have it out shortly. I got work all night and morning which is inconvenient, and drama involving the front lawn (don't ask) but I will have it to you soon dangit! With that in mind, this chapter will complete my goal of 8 fictions for last month. (Who says it's February, I sure don't!) As such I will have 9 NEW fictions done for this month just to be awesome! So to keep you eagerly awaiting what I got in store, I decided to make this blog post to tantalize you all for what I have in store for you this month!
When it comes to Ponyville High I got a lot in store for this series, as such I have to try and do as much for it as I can when I can, so a healthy goal of three chapters a month is not too much to ask for right? But I don't want to give away too much, so I'll simply tell you what chapters are on their way:
Ch. 4: The Beautiful and Popular Trixie
Ch. 5: Apple Harvest
Ch. 6: Murphy's Muffin Maniac
Gather what you want from the titles. Mwahaha!
As far as Seven Deadly Sins goes, it's not getting too much attention I realize, and I can understand considering it's prologue was the first fiction I've written in over a year and probably doesn't live up to many's expectations. I'm trying to live up to those though for those giving me a chance and coming along on the journey with later chapters. But due to lack of attention and a need to write several other fictions this much, I'll just be writing Ch. 3: Plan of Action for this month. Sorry for anyone actually looking forward to this series, I'll get a couple chapters out next month so you can meet a couple more of the SIN ponies. XD
When it comes to one shotters I got plenty, about three for this month. One is an Epilogue to the story "Dashie Come Home" which I'm surprised is already getting such a positive response. For anyone wondering, yes, Xam is my OC, and I do feel shameful putting him in the story, but it can't be helped. He will appear in the Epilogue as you can see from the cover art, and as a pony for bonus points. XP
After finally reading Rainbow Factory, I honestly didn't see what the big deal was. The only really bad thing about the story was the damage between a sisterly bond, which is admittedly uncool and the only thing that makes stories like that so upsetting. It's like a kick to your emotions nads, but the ending is kind of open honestly. I saw an eleven year old write a better ending to that story, damn straight, an eleven year old! As such I decided to try my hand at it, give an ending that holds true to the feel of the story, while going where you couldn't possibly imagine without my assistance! Love! Action! Explosions! And a friendly musical number. Look forward to that. >w>
Also this month only, I'm going to write a clopfic! Horny fan boys squeal with delight. -w- I'm not going into details there, other than it involving Twilight and Trixie as humans and it being relative to my own interests (aka nothing hardcore or anything, I like softer things) so if your interested give it a look. If not, fair enough, just warning you all.
And last but certainly not least is Dashie and Derpy Misadventures, which I intend on writing two chapters for this month. One might be based around the upcoming episode where Dashie ends up in the hospital, just need to see it and get some ideas. The next will be a valentines special where I write about how Derpy and Dashie met and even fell in love! So definitely look forward to those!
