Bio:
Born on the streets and into poverty during the end of great Mushroom Kingdom depression, Toad was the only one of seven older brothers and sisters who survived through childhood. As he was growing up, he met a teenage Peach and her father when he attempted to steal some money from them. Both impressed by his fearlessness and quick movement, the king immediately hired him to be the retainer to his daughter lest he wanted life in jail. He obviously chose the latter, a decision neither he nor Peach has regretted.
Toad has an undying loyalty to Peach after she showed him mercy. He has stated multiple times that he would lay down his life if it meant defending her, much to Peach's annoyance. He is kind to those he deems nonthreatening but is prone to getting angry when around foes. Though he can be courageous, Toad can also be stupidly fearless by jumping into battles he has a low chance of winning. He is also a surprisingly good dancer, though it's speculated this comes from the fact he is naturally agile and quick on his feet.
As a unit, Toad suffers from low defense, resistance and health base stats and growths. He won't survive long in battle as a front line unit and it's best to keep him behind others to finish enemies others couldn't. Having said this, Toad's luck, skill and speed base stats and growths are phenomenal and he can easily double or even quadruple without missing if given enough time to grow. His skill "Effect Spore" is useful when engaging a particularly powerful enemy. Risking him and using another unit to finish the job is a viable strategy.
