Yo, so here's a question I'd like your input on, readers. Plus, a minor update. · 2:39pm Apr 9th, 2017
Ya know Favorable Alignment? That really big story I'm writing that is gonna conclude arc one of my crazy universe? You do? Good, well this blog is about that.
There's a lot of little bits of world building that won't be fitting into the current chapter - and some from the story as a whole that I've yet to recall at the moment. Most of them are about the demons, which are finally explained in this chapter I'm working on. More about that below.
I would love to share these little bits of trivia in the form of something other than a blog since I'm mostly a strange antisocial creature who prefers to write about sassy horsies. The idea I came up with, being the trash that I am, would be fourth wall breaking omake style skits and drabble dumped in my anthology work that holds all sorts of deleted scenes and scrapped stories. You can find it here. They would be tagged with anything that shows they're related to FA and contain potential spoilers, of course.
So how would this work? Well I'd pick a concept that wasn't featured in FA from my handy list of demon facts (yes, that is an actual thing. Sue me.) and it would be turned into a little, slightly absurd discussion among the characters. Which characters you ask? Well, for starters, Sombra in all his glorious sass. Since he works very well with another character to berate/sass/degrade/play off of/make him look even more antisocial/seriously you guys I don't actually like pizza so please stop asking me it's really just a joke or something but I know longer grasp the source entirely as I write horsewords day in and day out but maybe I'll remember in an hour or something and even then I might not care... so I thought that I'd feature one of his friends. Or Luna. She's always an option too, but I liked the idea of him bantering with one of his friends. 'Friends' of course, would mean Cadance and Shining Armor, the latter who isn't even his friend but is tolerated and dragged along for insanity he never signed up for.
I also considered the possibility of having them hang out in groups, but I kinda like the idea of a duo. Things flow better then. Also, wow, this blog has pretty much no typos and doesn't look like shit. What.
Since I couldn't quite decide on which friendshipping to chose from, I thought that you guys (read: the six or so people who read Favorable Alignment) would like to discuss and vote on who you'd like as Sombra's sass victim in little drabbles that will be about minific length (y'know, 800 words-ish). Please comment below!
And now for the update! Chapter 43 is taking a bit long, ya, I'm distracted by random things at times, but that doesn't mean I haven't been writing. In fact, I have almost 9k of the chapter. You might be wondering why I haven't published that already since that's a pretty big chapter coming from me. Well, you see, it's because the chapter isn't done yet. I have it spread across three or so docs right now and according to the ever helpful outline I made for myself, there's still more to type. If you're asking 'wait does that finally mean you're gonna write a painstaking 10,000-ish chapter that is completed in an unusually impressive amount of time because you're super fabulous and a workaholic that's not even going to try and deny it' and all that?
Well... yes. It likely will be 10k if the Almighty Outline is any indication. Regardless of my surprising writing speed, please be patient.
So there's that.
...And if you think there's another character of mine that he's on kinda okay terms with (keyword: of mine) that you'd like Sombra to sass to oblivion as he dryly breaks the fourth wall and vaguely addresses the little cult following you guys have given him, suggest that too!
-Icy the Eldritch Demon
Sombra and Cadence would be the best comedy talk show hosts. Bring in Luna and Shining Armor in as guest correspondents occasionally.
Also, about the "no typos" thing:
That should be "no longer". Sorry Icy.

4489666 That's a great idea!
