Flicking his wrist the window shattered, “As you can see he was fated to die, abandoned by his whore of a mother. Used as a pawn by those around him, oh yes you are guilty too my dear Princess. And whether it was luck, destiny, or cruel twist of fate, you name it, Greymane will die because he was fated to from birth.”
Celestia’s eyes darted back and forth knowing what she now does, her biggest worries focused on if she could trust what the demon had shown her. Celestia was more than well aware that Greymane was dying, yet she was unsure of what she could do to prevent it.
Taking what little time she had Celestia thought about what choices she could make, “If I wanted a little time to think about this?” She asked watching as the demon sighed.
As he rolled his eyes he summoned forth an hourglass and cast a spell upon it causing it to spin rapidly, “When this hour glass stops spinning it will start to count down the seconds till he dies.” Walking towards Celestia he began to fade from sight as he stepped into the light from a candle, “Think long, hard, and fast. Even the Arch-demons in Tartarus can feel him fading, and they would give anything just to rip him apart. Over... and over... and over again…” He emphasized as his body dissipated in the light, “for all of eternity.” His laugh echoed as it seemed to drift away with the breeze that found its way into the throne room.
Celestia pondered on what to do next as she walked out of the throne room. Hoping to learn Grey’s status was slowly getting better as a way out of the deal, she began walking to his room begging for the best. Yet despite all of her hopes her mind constantly drifted back to the note causing her to wonder its significance, as she couldn’t open it to see the message contained within.
A message she had no faith in what so ever, “How…” She sighed looking up at the moon as it made its trip across the sky, “how is it you have such trust, such faith in him dear sister? When I cannot even find the ability to trust even a simple note.”
