So... I've gotten a lot of requests for a sequel to Veil of Thoughts, which is understandable given where the story ends. As I've said previously, I don't have a sequel planned, although, I am not against doing one. The more thought I give to it, the more I want to do something else with this universe.
This past weekend I awoke with my brain buzzing (ahhh bees!) and a crazy concept racing through my mind. Several hours later, I had a plan, an outline and a truly insane concept, that might just make me explode! Or, also, you know, not explode...
Anyhow.... While I am not ready to commit to it just yet (as I have just started and it's a big project) nor go into detail, I do have a working title (as indicated in the title of this blog post) for the project: Beyond the Veil of Thoughts. All I will say for now, is that it's something I have never tried before but that I think will be really neat if it works out.
More details to follow as I get further along.

I don't think the issue was where you left Twilight Dash as much as it was what happened to the Element of Magic. I think a story set in the same universe focusing on what happened to the Element would be really interesting. Godspeed, fan fic writers, and don't blow up!

As for the blog system, any blog you publish will send a notification to every user who "watches" you. You can also select any of your stories to be associated with the blog post so anyone who has faved said story, also be notified.
In addition you can edit your user page to disply your current blog there.

I know EXACTLY what you're talking about with getting ideas that are so crazy that just might work. Luckily, the crazy concepts are usually the best ones in my experience.

Awwwww yeah! Glad to see a sequel to this. A great fiction and a great (hopefully) sequel. Even if it doesn't follow Twilight Dash, just having them in there, as one, will make it really interesting. Looking for ward to seeing this.

397349 ok. Just making sure. Cause usually when someones says want to do something else with this universe. I usually think about Fallout Equestria. Where all in the same universe, but every story has a different character and such. Same place, different part, event, and ponies involved. After all, if it's about the same ponies, it will either be a sequel, happening after. Or a prequel, happening before.

Just discovered Veil of Thoughts. One of my all time favorite stories now. I'm really excited to see that you're considering returning to the world because I want to see a whole lot more of Twilight Dash.
