I remember doing this twice, way back in the early 2000s, on the PS2. Nowadays, my reflexes have atrophied.

I find it far easier to just make the weapon, Celestial benefits be damned. It's not like I use Lulu all that much in the endgame, anyways.

4478268 Nor I. I'm far into the end game using Rikku, Wakka, and Tidus. Started with Yuna, Auron, and Tidus, but as I reconsidered my options I noted that Rikku and especially Wakka will be far more useful for their Overdrives.

I'm currently filling up the Monster Arena and doing sparse Don Tonberry grinding. Secondary objective for my arena questing is to fight enough to get all of Wakka's Overdrives and thus his Sigil. Once I have the World Champion powered up, gonna start actually fighting some of the real Monster Arena bosses.

Ugh, the Ultimate Weapons quest. I so hated those back in the day, not to mention all the hoops you had to jump through to finish it. Though the one I really hated was probably the chocobo race- was never sure if I was just that bad at it, or my luck was really bad. I think I only ever bothered with the relatively simple ones for Yuna and Auron.

That was such a pain. I ended up cheating (on PC) by using a script to press the button at the right time. Not that I ever used Lulu's Celestial anyway.
