Hello again.
From time to time I need to remind myself that Northland's South Ronaldsays are, in fact, real Icelandic horses.
As they again will be important in the coming chapter, I was pleased to come across Faoileag and Buidhe while browsing horse pictures.
First up is Chieftain Faoileag.
Maybe some pronunciation guide is overdue here as well. Twilight?

"Sorry. 'Faoileag' translates to English orthography akin to this: 'Fwlac'. For the sound of the 'w', try saying 'cool' without rounding your lips. That's as close as you can get using English sounds.

Next up: Buidhe ('Bwee' or -easier but not as close- 'Buje').
Poor Solstice Spirit. I mean, just look at her. How could you not fall for her, were you 2/3 horse yourself?
Of course, there's the fact that the base of his ears is approximately at the height of her eyes.
As we know, he has thought about this himself - but who ever let rational considerations get in the way in these matters?
