Enter: Zoom Update · 12:36am Mar 17th, 2017
Greetings Gotham, Joker here! Yes, I know I said I was taking some time off, but I meant that I was some time off from WRITING for this site, so I could work on fanfiction.net. I'll still post advertisements blogs about my fanfiction.net projects, I'll still read stories here, i'm just not going to write anything for here for a while.
Now then, onto the update for Enter: Zoom. While I don't have much for a storyline at this time (I'm actually going to plan things out this time before I release it onto fanfiction.net), I do have a general idea for what I want to do for it. Originally, I was going to have Zoom show up, kick everyone's ass before getting double teamed and caught by Sonic and Shadow, both of whom Zoom beat on their own, on several occassions. Then Savitar shows up via superspeed, goes back and forth between Mobius and... can we still even call it the Arrowverse, since there's clearly more than one universe? Anyways, Savitar goes back and forth to dump Metahumans on Mobius, which in turn causes Sonic and Shadow to get Zoom released from prison and the three of them work together to beat Savitar and the Metahumans. In other words, it was me on a sugar high from drinking a 2-liter of Mountain Dew right out of the bottle.
Now then, here's the more carefully thought out idea:
The story is set one month after the events of Sonic: Epliogue-
Oh, wait, you guys probably don't know what Sonic: Epilogue is, do you? Well, apparently it was this fanmade comic that only had one issue for some reason, then somebody had the bright idea to finish it, animate it, and post said animation on YouTube. Well, here's Sonic: Epliogue:
Now then, here's what's different about my version of the events of Sonic: Epilogue:
1. Everyone is humanized, which is a good thing, especially since I'm planning to have my version of Hunter Zolomon/Zoom be Sally Acorn's rebound lover, and I know how Sonic fans tend to react to human X Mobian. (coughSonic06cough).
2. Instead of being set in what I can only suspect is some kind of future timeline for Sonic SATAM (I personally felt like Woody in Toy Story 2 after watching the last episode. And then I felt like this when they took that show off Netflix instead of The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog:
So, it's like every promotional thread I post on The Insane Creators Guild these days) it's set in the comic book universe/continuity thing... Mobius Prime, let's go with that (names of the Mobiuses in the Sonic Franchise, created by me: Mainstream Games: Mobius-1. Sonic Boom: Mobius Boom. Comics: Mobius Prime/Moebius/whatever else they do to change the spelling of "Mobius") during the aftermath of the second discount Flashpoint Genesis Wave, thus resulting in Dr. Eggman ruling over Mobius with his Dark Egg Legion.
All right, now that I've taken care all of that, let's get onto the big idea already. Anyways, Enter: Zoom takes place one month after Sonic: Epilogue. Tails is now the leader of the Freedom Fighters following Sonic's disappearance/corruption/death. Sally is... well, she's not really herself anymore, and who can blame her? The man she loved disappeared, turned up evil, then was killed in self-defense by his protege. Who WOULDN'T change after that? Anyways, the fight against Dr. Eggman and the Dark Egg Legion has pretty much gone downhill big time without Sonic leading the charge. Things were bad. Really bad
And then, HE shows up.
Zoom. Well, my version of Zoom since this is indeed a Displaced, just set in a Sonic the Hedgehog AU instead of Equestria. The Freedom Fighters meet Zoom after he lays waste to a Dark Egg Legion base (there are no survivors, of course). They manage to convince Zoom to come with them back to Knothole, where he reveals himself as Hunter Zolomon, then invents a fabricated origin story about his past, how he gained his superspeed, etc. They then run test on Zoom and his suit to find out what exactly is going on there ( I have a scene planned where they're testing Zoom's speed on a modified treadmill that Sonic used for exercise, and they have to keep ducking for cover every time he breaks the sound barrier, unless of course they want a sonic boom to the face)
Anyways, Zoom is offered a place among the Freedom Fighters ranks, but TURNS THEM DOWN, preferring to do things his way. And he isn't the only one who leaves, either. Those who eventually join Zoom as his team, which I WAS going to call the Speed Force, but now I could use ideas for a different name, are the following:
Sally Acorn (second in command/love interest)
Bunnie Rabbot-D'Coolette
Antoine D'Coolette
Riley Prower (OC, Tails' brother that he doesn't actually know he has, but despite only having on tail, is just as smart as Miles, maybe even a smidge more so)
Nicole the Hololynx (she becomes Zoom's version of Eobard Thawne's GIDEON.)
A REBUILT Shard/Jack (he and Nicole get married at some point in the series, and even persuade Riley to build them a child, since obviously they can't have on of their own.)
I could also use ideas for additional members as well.
That's all I got so far, but I do know that at some point, Savitar shows up and outs Eggman as the big bad.

I love this form of Metal Sonic! He is the first Metal Sonic that is the good guy!
Although, I'm surprised you didn't decide to bring in Becoe and Decoe from Sonic X.
They are two of Eggman's robots in the show, his right-hand-robots, that is. Think of them as the precursors of Orbot and Cubot from Sonic COLORS, but a bit more useful in terms of combat, as they actually have SOME form of defensive and offensive abilities, given to them by Eggman, like how they can turn themselves into a fucking cannon and blow up a prison cell, as shown in Sonic X. And maybe add Bokkun, one of Eggman's other robots... Although, Bokkun was more of a messenger of Eggman.
