Today is the day of realization for pony kind. Lauren Faust's last name is protagonist in a German legend where a man named Faust forms a evil pact with the god of Disorder. Faust becomes twisted, misshapen, and a mix of many animals. He went insane and called himself Discord. The god of disorder then used that body and adopted the name of Discord the of the lords of Chaos. Sound like someone eh ?
