Eh, just giving it a pessimistic-like intro
The art compromise... the ability to come to some mutual agreement, or understand both sides of a story, or even to settle a dispute or a disagreement.
Or having character flaws in both fiction and reality. Those little things that make you sometimes act like this... or sometimes act differently that tells people who you are or what you're capable of.
I say... that whole concept of both subjects is PATHETIC!! (Neither one of them is actually practiced anymore anyway. Not by me, or pretty much anyone)
People don't listen to me or comprehend what I have to say, and even if they do they just pretend to not have heard me out or leave vital piece of information out. (Just being plain ignorant)
More people who never even met me online, they just take one look at the tabloid trash bullies and haters post of me and judge me wrong without even wanting to hear my side of the story.
Well, if that's how people behave, then I guess that's pretty much how the whole world is described, and it's what I've believe in for a long while.
And ever since I saw EVER AFTER HIGH, there is a quote I find most profound in it that heavily fuels and supports my belief.
"You can't BE on both sides. Good or Evil? Pick one!"
I like that... I like that a lot, and like Is aid, it fuels my belief.
-You cannot physically travel down two paths in the road. (Just one)
-So the apple was cut in half... You don't have the WHOLE THING (So you still didn't get what you really wanted)
Or even the people who nag at me to change MY stories to meet THEIR preferences saying they won't bother me anymore. Not only is that complete and total bull (I have done as they said at times, and they don't stop) That's not even a real compromise (All their doing is just whining for me to do something they want rather than what I want, and like I said, they don't change their attitudes)
So yeah, to me, Compromise and these multi-character traits seem to a be a load of bull (Heavily supported by the way people behave and how the world is working these days)
...It really doesn't do much.
That goes double for all the characters I've seen, it doesn't matter WHAT they try to act like, I'll only view them one way. (The same way other people... EVEN YOU have done to my characters, characters I supported, or even ME myself in general)
People say that when I put the MLPs into my Starfleet world, that I stripped them of their traits that made them likable. Well, I never considered them likable in the first place. With or without those traits, I view them all as follows, and always will...
-Twilight Sparkle is too narrow-minded
-Applejack is too macho
-Rainbow Dash has an ego the size of the moon
-Fluttershy's scared of her own shadow
-Rarity would take first prize in a stupidity contest
-Pinkie Pie's got cake batter for a brain
That is how I see them... and how I usually portray them. It doesn't matter if they learn their lessons (Usually they seems to forget them and not reflect upon them in latter episodes anyway) or if they exhibit other traits in character development. I won't regard them as anything other than how I have labeled them in my preference (Other people won't change their attitudes, why should I?)
Even if I try to change them in my fanfics, I still regard them as the same at the end of the day.
You pick a trait and STICK with it.
You either PASS (You met my expectations)
Or you FAIL (You didn't meet my expectations)
Moondancer almost met my expectations, but because she ultimately forgave and reconciled with Twilight... she FLUNKED. I am not impressed with her anymore.
There is no EXCEPTIONS. There's no (It was good... Except for this and that) NO!!! You passed or you failed. PICK ONE!! No Exceptions, impressions, no potentials, no risks, flaws, or second chances! If you FAIL, then all the things I found impressive about you are no longer valid.
"If there was any bit of respect I had left for you... it's gone now"
PASS... or... FAIL! (Just the way everyone else seems to behave.)
that's usually how I go in life too...
when I choose ONE PATH... anything that is Neither ON nor situated with that path... get rid of it!
EXAMPLE OF MEANING...
If I were to choose a hard-working life with a job and all that stuff that means...
-No more TV
-No more video games
-No movies
-No music
-No drawing
-No writing
-No sports
-No hanging out.
...I could name more...
...Those are things for enjoyment, happiness, and FUN... I chose the HARD WORK and a JOB road, which those things I don't to have part of.
You can't travel down both roads... PICK ONE. No more mixing it up. Whatever's not on that road you chose... I/you don't touch!
Oh, and one last thing... Once it/you is out... it's just that.
One strike, and you're out... all the way out. No second chances, No turning back, No reconciling... YOU'RE OUT!! Don't pick it up agian, don't mention word of it, don't even THINK ABOUT thinking about it again.
It's gone... DONE WITH!!

Oh, yes... THAT also fuels my belief.
This is what I have been taught, shown and experiences all my life (And the people I've seen and spoken too online heavily seem to heavily enforce that with their attitudes)
Compromise doesn't seem to do JACK-SQUAT!!
So, the question is... Which side are you on? "You can't be on both sides... PICK ONE!"

I respect your belief.seeing things one way sounds nice,it makes simple.I also understood about moondancer sometimes I feel twilight kinda kept bothering her until you be her friend*likely out of guilt or ego or something in those lines*but I can say this,what will benefit her more bring loner or being with friends. I also I understand that we see things differently.I see things in different sides but also in different points of view. I believe diversity is the spice of life. I believe in second chances,giving mercy to my foes.And I believe you can be the best person you can if you find a balance,but I will respect your belief and way of mind because it wouldn't be right for me criticize your way of seeing things.besides everyone has own way of doing things.it is your life so you make the decision
Oh yeah if I pick one I guess I would have pick the lazy path I am more of support role anyway tho(also the reason why I am still up is because I can't sleep and sorry if I am bothering you)
