Why? Because they want to take one of our oldest beaches and put a hotel on it! The beach is called Pago Bay and that place was where I first discovered my love for fishing thanks to my grandpa and now they wanna put fancy buildings and parking lots on it just to attract more tourists? Let me tell wjat tourists also do around beaches. THEY LEAVE THEIR GARBAGE!! I once stumbled upon a pile of shattered beer bottles during one of my fishing trips and got a shard stuck in my foot.
If this happens, more and more people are gonna loose the right to visit the places they went to as kids while others just walk around and do as they please all because they got a few extra coins in their pockets! It's not fair!

Damn I get their stand point but try a different idea though like um add something else people will love because lets face it they will need more money than the island people that stay their but I agree with you
