Hey Hive Mind, DWC here
This...isn't something that's gonna be easy to say. So I'll get straight to the point.
I am stepping down as author of The Life of a Wanted Changeling and handing off the rights to BrownDog effective immediately.
This is not something I just thought of. I've been mulling over this for awhile and decided it would be the best course of action to take. School has been a lot more stressful on me then I have led on and I don't have the same energy to write the story anymore. Not to say I don't like it, I love the world that's been named and the characters I've created, but I just don't feel up to it anymore.
I've been writing this story with your guy's comments for little over three years now, and in those years I've had the time of my life. But the constant need to update regularly has been hard and as you've all notice I'm not always on time.
I much prefer working on my stories that don't have set dead lines like my RWBY one, and constantly having to work on this one and school just wasn't working.
I'm sorry, but this is what is happening.
The main direction of the story will be the same, and I will be sticking around as a advisor for BrownDog. However he will now have full control over what comments get used and what decision would be best for the story. Season 3 will be staying on my account till it is finished, after that BrownDog and I will discuss if the next season should be moved to his account or not.
You all have know me for a long time now. I've written stories with some of you, helped some of you with your own stories, heck a decent chunk of you are in the story as characters. So please understand when I say that this has been a tough decision on me and that I would never do this unless I thought it was absolutely needed.
I hope you can understand my reasoning's and respect my decision, thank you.
You've been a great author thus far. I completely understand the need to take a step back from other things in order to deal with school first, I've had to do that with a few things myself recently. (Can't afford to lose that scholarship from my school)
I understand DWC. I know school is important and some things take priority. I am just glad you won't be leaving us completely. Plus it will be interesting to see your comments in this story.
School is important, and you're making the right decision. I'll try my best to stay positive for any choice you make involving this and other stories you make, as long as you don't cancel it permanently lol, then I'll be sad and I'll miss you as the head writer bud. I believe Brown Dog will do an amazing job in your place, and hopefully one day you can come back and look at this masterpiece a small group made involving a wanted changeling.
You've done a fantastic job these last three years man, I'll try not to let you or the Hive Mind down.
To the Hive Mind, I hope you all will give me the chance
I know I don't contribute to how the story goes but the work you did is amazing I am shore BrownDog will do a good job. Just sad to see you go.

Best of luck in future endeavors, some things are more important than others and we'll still be here. Just try not to disappear completely, pop in every once in a while. Hope it all works out for you.
It could be bad to lose you, but at last you stay as advisor, and you could very well help when you get more time in a future.
Hey man, these last few years have been a blast. I may not comment anymore, but I'm always reading along, and I intend to stick with this series till the end.
Sorry RL had to get in the way, but... it happens to us all. Sad to see you step down.
