Coming Eventually: Everypony Wants To Rule The World

Hello, everyone. Well, I got a couple of ideas for my Everypony Wants To Rule The World story. Here's the idea I'm going with, provided by Living Robot:

An alternate reality where there's an ancient King or Queen of some kind. They have many children: Celestia, Luna, Cadence, Twilight, Platinum, Storm Rider (maybe a few more). Because the King or Queen is such a powerful being, they want to confer the Kingdom onto the strongest of their children, hence call for the game. The game is that the children must eliminate each other by any means necessary without getting caught. Last one standing becomes the new ruler.

Now, who could possibly come up with such a game? Why, who else but...
