I know this is an unusual request to just make out of the blue, so maybe I should give it some context.
Over the past year, I said I would do a few things that I never got around to. My creative sense has been a little off lately, but I think to some degree it was never quite there to begin with. Even as a child, my stories never quite got beyond the first chapter, and I think it's mostly because I'm a lot better at coming up with characters than events.
I've watched a lot of movies and read a lot of stories, and I can imagine a character in my head easily. Even cut mainly from my own cloth, I can give them a life, a speech pattern, and even some ideas on what they might grow into. But I can never give them anything worthwhile to do, beyond a few life-changing moments of development that need more space between them to make sense.
That's why I'd like some help with giving my characters a story to exist in. I've got some minor outlines for the first 'arc' of The Best of All Worlds in storage, but I can't fill them in properly. I'd like someone to collaborate with to continue it. I know that it might be better to do it all myself, but I've tried a few times now and I just can't do it by myself.
If anyone's interested, feel free to send me a message. I'd rather work with a native English-speaker, though, if possible.
I'll update this space when I've come to a decision with someone.
I suppose I could give it a shot, though I'm not sure how. I've never co-written something before.
I would be interested, but I have my own issues. I have quite the creative sense, but I have trouble getting around to stuff. For example, I used to make homemade comics with a whole bunch of arcs split into seasons, but I never got past season 1 on any of them, scrapping them all in favor of new ideas.
While I don't scrap ideas anymore, I still have a half-finished fanfic gathering dust on this site. I know how it's gonna end, and I know most of the events leading to that ending. I just...never get around to writing it.
This isn't just a creative issue, either. I still have to watch The Cart Before The Ponies and beyond.
4415554 I haven't seen anything past 'Magical Mystery Cure' myself, so.
4415398 (though this is for both of you) The idea I had was basically that I'd edit for you. If you could come up with events, then I'd make sure that the characters fit those events.

How does that work, though? I give you ideas for a plot, and you write it out? Or do you tell me about your characters, I write the story, and you edit for any possible changes?
4415940 I tell you more about my characters and some ideas for events. I'd need you to bridge those events. I can't just skip between the two ideas I have; I need something in the middle, and I can't decide on which one is the best.
I can handle some ideas and editing, but I need someone who can connect ideas into stories. I'm not explaining this very well, but that's basically it.

I think I understand. PM me whenever you have the time.
