My laptop exploded.
Well... not exploded per se, but it did heat up to the point it physically burnt me. As it was my only working computer and I'm far to poor to actually afford a working smartphone, I was left without internet capability or even the ability to write since mid-august. Thankfully my stuff was all on googledocs so I did not lose progress. Now that I have a new laptop, I'll probably start writing again.
I'm sorry if I led anyone to believe I had died of cancer or in some freak laptop explosion...

It's fine, honestly if a laptop is so hot it burns you, I'd say you's have to be a fool to not think of replacing it.

Holy shit. Being a computer person myself I know that it must have been quite the heat that it managed to actually hurt you... ouch. Seriously, ouch.
At least you're better now. Hopefully. Well, you're physically well enough to be able to write, and cognizant enough to write this blog post, so I'll assume you're better now. Thankfully nothing worse than that burn happened.
And yeah, the miracle of cloud storage. Silver linings.
