The fate of "All for a Friend".

    Kept you waiting, huh?

Memes aside, yes, it's great to be back, though not everything went exactly as planned.

That being said, I've gotten to rereading my first semi-major work, "All for a Friend," and I've found it desperately lacking in quality and substance.

    Chapter 4 postponed

Well, I guess an explanation is in order here, no?

It can all be chalked up to the very contentious and frightening thing that is life. Indeed, I am a senior within high school and, as such, I've a great many number of things to attend to in the coming days.

I'm not sure how many of my glorious readers will stumble upon this post, but I'll be happy if even one of you somehow find this.

Yes, just as the title of this Blog Post suggests, your beloved, humble, and all around amazing author I'm to ship off to boot camp in September in order to serve the United States of America and to defend all those within her borders. While sadly not one who gets to handle all of the large guns on the deck or one who gets to all the glory of working on aircraft carriers, I assure you that my job as man in the United States Navy will not be a mere cook or laborer.

Nay, I've training for an entire year before getting the position I signed for today. Yeah, an entire year of training. If that doesn't hint as to the severity of my career, then I don't know what can without specifically naming what your old friend Stlat is becoming.

I'm making it one of my goals to fully finish my beloved All for a Friend before I ship out to Basics, and to write you all a few heart felt messages along the way.

But, honestly, I'm completely drained after a long day of questioning and intense glares. Just take solace, my beloved reader, that I'm most definitely going to come back and write like a man possessed whenever I have time for shore leave or if I'll have the opportunity during my time in Military College to learn about my future trades. I will never abandon my writing, despite seeming like I do quite often, and you can take that for a fact.

Writing has been one of my lifelong passions, and I cannot voice how happy all of you have made me through the past couple of months with your support of my cruddy work and giving me something to truly be proud of.

From the bottom of my heart, I thank every single one of you. If we were in person, then I'd shake your hand and take you down to the local coffee shop for a talk about your day and why specifically you liked the story.

Well... If nothing else, I can now use myself as an example of a non-stereotypical brony, no? Military dude who loves him some pone on the side.

Yeah, make fun of my waifu again, I dare you.

Heh, well, jokes aside, I wish all of you pleasant days and even better lives. As for me, I've to get cracking on CH5, as I'm about halfway through with some needed changes on the side that'll hopefully add some new layers to characters.

That's the hope, at least.

Until next time, my beloved readers,
Stlat.
