Bit depressed here... · 10:39pm Feb 2nd, 2017
Yeah, that's right, me the constantly cheery and calmly composed if not somewhat snarky Bricklayer has fallen into a state of depression. What's brought this on? Well, it's related to my story view count for my most recent stories published in the last couple of months. You see, after writing three (Almost four) stories that reached over 1,000 views and having over 160 followers, I was expecting my stories to become more and more famous. Now I actually celebrate when a story breaches 200 views. Yeah... It's really a step down, especially after one of those stories I've written was a sequel one of my over 1,000 view stories and even it's comment and chapter view count has dropped to about 30 views and only one, maybe two comments if I'm lucky per chapter. It's... depressing. I'm sorry if I sound like I'm whining or crying for attention, but I just needed to vent my feelings. Sorry guys.
Aw that is sad. Here is something to cheer up.

We all need to vent sometimes.

4407202 It gets worse when your newest story gets a lot of faves, but only slightly over one hundred views and only three comments, two of which are just replies and one from myself. Of course, the view thing might just be because of how early I posted it, as there are specific times when the site is most active. And thanks Knight, that image did help a little, though I swear I've seen it somewhere before...
Sequels rarely do as good as the original story, in fact I think I've only seen one story on this site where the sequel had more views and likes than the first story.
4407263 Yeah, I know, I just wasn't expecting such a huge drop in view count. 1,000 to not even 300 is just depressing and only 20-30 views a page makes it all the more worse when it started out so well.
People these days are busy with life mate. Most work or go to school and after all that, they're not in the mood to read. Give it till summer mate, see what happens then.
