Just so you're all up to speed on where things stand...
I finished scripting this chapter's battle today. It took longer than usual, because (a) the battle is absurdly long and (b) I'm six months out of practice so I had to remember how to even do this.
I'm exhausted and want to spend the evening watching stuff and unwinding. Or maybe working on Sunset Vs. Tomorrow morning, the writing begins.
Due to the EXTREME length of this chapter's battle, I don't anticipate being able to finish writing the chapter in one day. So I'm setting the likely publication date as Thursday, 2/2. If I can manage to finish it tomorrow, I will, but it'll be REALLY late evening.
Odds are this is going to be about a 13k word chapter. First draft topped at 8k words, less than I expected because I overestimated how much I'd actually written before I got to work on the meaty parts.

Sheesh, Flash has to come clean with Twilight AND fight a shadow battle in one day? He can't seem to catch a break. I hope he'll at least be more useful this time then he was in the last fight.

Huh, neat. I recall you saying that you'd structure the fight in a different way to save on time. Not that I would've minded, but it is good to know it'll still be the same.
