Becoming Somewhat Concerned For Titanfall 2's Future · 12:54pm Jan 28th, 2017
So today Titanfall 2 turns three months old. I am currently making my way through Gen 6.
So far in terms of DLC, we have two cosmetic "Prime" Titan skins and one retro map, Angel City.
That's it.
Next month we're getting one new gametype, Live Fire, which is sure to die as quick a death as any other game mode that isn't named Attrition, Bounty Hunt, or Last Titan Standing.
Then in March, we get another retro map, Colony, and two more Prime titans.
If this is the future of free DLC, then for the love of Celestia, I welcome paid DLC back with open arms.
Are you fucking kidding me? Come March, that will be five months, and all we have to show for it is two more maps, neither of which is brand new, and four prime Titans.
For a grand total of 11 maps at the five-month mark. Titanfall 1 had 15 at launch. At launch.
