I have a silly little idea inspired by Doctor Who (spoilers)

In the series 9 episode, "Heaven Sent," - one of my favorites of all time - it is revealed that the Doctor spends 4.5 billion years trapped inside his Confession Dial breaking through an Azbantium wall. He does the same thing for 4.5 billion years and comes out a different person.

I had an idea for a story similar to that - a silly idea, so it might be something like a short story. One chapter, perhaps.

Two different ideas, in fact:

An evil villain takes over Equestria, takes the princesses and the Elements hostage. You, a friend, are encased and trapped inside a small parallel universe surrounded by a force field, with the intent of being there for 100 years. Unaware, time is going much faster within. And you spend far more than the villain ever assumed. You are older than the universe itself, than time and space - older than creation. You gain far more knowledge than any living creature who ever lived. And you do it to see the people you love again. Trial and error, the long way around.

The other idea is the same, only there is no villain. A magical spell gone wrong, Twilight Sparkle eventually brings you back to the universe, but you have been gone a very long time, and you have to readjust to society and remember everyone and everything again.

Of course, these ideas might be silly, but they seem so much better in fantasy. If I ever do them, I'll make them interesting. :)
