Oh boy... did we break open the crypt on this one or what? So dusty, much cobwebs, wow. People thought it was dead and gone, but nope. We found it, we dragged its ass into the sun, we beat it with a stick until it started moving again, and now it's time to do something about that 'Cancelled' status, right Twilight?
That's what I thought.
Anyways, as most of you can tell, I'm not Sir Hat... which means that I have no clue in what direction he was taking this story. As such, I need to hear from you guys on what your expectations are. I most likely will go through and do a bit of rewriting, such as removing characters from the story that are part of Hat's old universe (ie, Abel, etc), but I need to know: do you guys want me to try and keep the story as much the same as possible, or get some new things rolling here? Like I said, I have no clue in what direction Hat was going, so I'll just be flying by the seat of my pants here, so don't get too butthurt over the direction I end up taking the story.
Anyways, I'll give you guys about a week or so to respond before I begin overhauling everything.

Those are the old chapters in the fic right now. I just handed it over to Max today, so the chapters are unchanged.
Um, what happened may I ask? He just seems to have called it quits and now you have this story. With everything on your plate will you have the time to write this story?

Wow I love this story. Dispite Sir Hats rather emotional witeing style this was one of his more stable stories. For me at least. I still feel that this one needs a diffrent touch to keep the story more coherent and contained to the one fic insted of bouncing from plot to "plot".

I would have to vote for taking the same basic concept with the same basic characters and essentially starting a new story. I vaguely remember the concept of this story, but not much in the way of details.
That said, given your experience with popular HiEs, I think you'll do well with it regardless of where you take it. Hell, put Max in it as the human and make it an AU of him.
Good to see it being revived once again, at the very least. Its been a while, and I was there in the beginning, (before the first rewrite) but it feel like forever since then and can't remember the specific details. Good luck with this, regardless!

Let's see...
Man finds the Headless Horse, and also finds out it's not as dangerous as the other ponies think.
He takes headless horse back to house, fixes her up.
Finds out she's got a head; they're just undergoing a long term separation to see if that will work out better.
Headless Horse falls in love with Man, Head is extremely tsundere (kinda reasonably messed up after what she's been through).
Head manages to finagle herself back onto Headless body, Man figures out that'll kill the Headless Horse personality, separates them again, then Headless is in head and Head is in body.
I think - think - the dude already had a marefriend in one rewrite, but I could also be confusing with another Sir Hat story.
The arcane stuff, the multi-world crossover, the wonton vulgarity... I could take it or leave it.
I don't know where it was going, but I'd like to see more. Dealing with the whole headless issue felt like it should have been a bigger deal. How would the head eat for the body if the body got away from the head? How quickly would others truly get over a decapitated body wandering around town?

I finally finished reading... well, I think it'll need some more adventure exploring the city, then trying to restore it, then finish it at the marriage...
and as an epilogue, show the fourth birthday of the kid with the suggested theme or not
Just started reading it and, in my opionion, it's going to need a fair bit of work.
