IN WHICH I TRY SOMETHING NEW-ISH
So I wasn't liking how my latest Mayor Mare story was going. It was merely a fleshed out rehash of the MBT chapter where the mayor complains about Donald Trump Orangeglow. No matter what, that's going to be the core of the story because it needs to be. This time, though, I think I've found a better angle, and I have our terrible horrible no-good very bad soon-to-be President to thank for it. I swear that sonuvabitch is nearly to the point he can't be parodied because his actual real-life words and actions are so over-the-top awful he may as well be a cartoon villain.

I don't utilize the Foal Free Press nearly enough in my stories.

Moth chastised me for poking fun at such an easy target. He's right, of course. But my god it's so easy and, I would argue, necessary. It's just like when I was drawing cartoons about Dubya for my local paper thirteen years ago (before I switched to editorializing about local and state issues) – sometimes sh!t just gotta be said.

Incidentally, once I'm done with the Mayor, I'm thinking of either working on my Anon-A-Miss fic (which I've already started) or doing a story wherein Sunset and Rarity go to the Burrito Barn together. However, doing that would fuse the "Sunset's Recovery" arc and the Burritoverse, and I don't know if those worlds should be joined outside my fevered brain. Although, it's been a long time since I've visited the Burritoverse and at least some of my readers seem to enjoy it, yet I worry I'm no longer capable of the insanity required of a Burrito story. We shall see.
