As of now we are 1 shy of 60 up votes to 3 down votes, although I get the feeling the 3 downers were just a little upset they didn't think of this story first.
Realistically I never thought I would reach this milestone until I was at least 3 chapters in and couldn't be happier. I thought by the time I posted chapter 2 I would only have a max of 20 up votes. Speaking of chapter 2 I should have it posted on Saturday the 14th around noonish EST. I have written chapter 3 and 4 and am in the process of revising, tweaking, and editing them. There will probably be 6 chapters in total, but there is the possibility of a sequel. Now I never intended for this to be continued but it just so happens that inspiration decided to hit me over the head with an idea that could work. But all I have is the idea at this point and I don't know if I want to commit and set it up for a sequel in case it doesn't work out. Although I have time to think it over and see what happens. If I do make a sequel then it could open the possibility to more installments and this could turn into a saga, but I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's just see how things progress.
I have to admit I absolutely love this first chapter and I hope that this story ends off with at least 20,000 words. now i'm not saying that you should do it but if you would like to it would be very much appreciated.
P.S. would you take suggestions for a story with an oc, please comment back to me.

Not sure what the word count will be I hope for at least 10,000 and if I make a sequel that will extend the story further. What kind of suggestion for a story?

4384387 my oc has a crimson blood red mane, eyes, and tail, pitch black fur, a horn that looks like the head crest on spacegodzilla (look it up if you have to), bat like wings that have 3 claws that can grab things on the end, really sharp teeth. those are his physical appearance's. he can grow clearish crimson red Crystal out of the ground, is good with magic and flying. those are all of his abilities.
