Twinkling Gem: Sequel

Hello there, everypony! A much needed message for those of you wondering what's going to happen to Twinkling Gem's sequel. Firstly, don't worry. The series is far from ever reaching a point of being cancelled. Why's that? Because it's a story I love working on! Now as I talk, I'll say more beyond the break. Hope you guys enjoy it!

I hope none of you thought I was dead? First things first is that I wanted to let you all know that Feather Note's story, The True Nightmare: Epitaph is finally finished. Took so much longer than expected but we have finished it. (Nonetheless if you wish to check out the series for yourself you are most welcomed. Look at that, Feather Note promoting himself. XD He's pretty humble about not making a big deal out of it and usually doesn't promote his stories, since he enjoys writing for fun). I'll leave a link here for you, in case you wish to check it out. Be forewarned, the story is a might graphic so those of you who don't like watching ponies get torn apart, that's probably not a story for you.

The True Nightmare

Other than that, on to the real news at hand. Now that Feather Note is done with his story, he thought of turning his attention back to you all and start working on Twinkling Gem's first sequel! Yeah! We're finally getting back into it. The story has been planned halfway through but we thought it'd be best to revise the first half and then write that out, while also planning out the next section so as to keep up with it.

Now there is one little minor inconvenience, which is revision that Feather Note is still trying to complete. Don't worry though. It's not going to interfere with the story as far as you're concerned. The only time it'll take away from writing is once he gets to the tenth chapter of TG's sequel. But even then it shouldn't be too much of a hold-up, since he'll be working on the stories for certain days of the week. He makes sure to plan ahead for stuff like this so that he can give attention to stories when they're in need. No cause for concern just yet.

Here's the list of what I have done.

Chapter length: Prologue to Chapter 9. The story itself has reached the halfway mark that defines how long the original was, so nine more and it's about as long as Twinkling Gem itself. Length wise will definitely be different but as for now, that is up in the air for me, too.

Characters: I have everypony in the required position that they'll be in. As far as I'm concerned the characters that some of you, the readers have their roles as well. The characters I've created (which one is also a reader's character) is about... two-thirds of the way done. I have one original character complete (which will share the spotlight with Twilight and Rarity as main protagonists). The other two, which if I remember correctly, supporting cast members, both have their designated roles. One's a... reason character made teacher in a sense. So don't worry. Progress has been coming along as well. No need for panic. This story should (we hope) this year at least. Hopefully it should be done by this year as well, since this time I'm going to complete the whole story first and then begin publishing it instead of working halfway through and then working on the rest, which last time didn't prove to be such a useful technique.

So do not fret, readers! We shall save the day... figuratively speaking. I'll be working on writing here soon so that will inevitably get this story going very quickly. I hope this finds you all well and that you have a lovely day!
