Expect “Future Stories” update tomorrow + Some extras · 1:49am Jan 6th, 2017
I’m gonna work on putting together my promised detail tomorrow on what the future holds for stories I write. Got a few I can mention either specifically, in hope or in vague reference. Both original and fanfic to keep things interesting to what I want to work on and what people want to see on the more short term basis.
So look for that post tomorrow. In addition, I will be releasing a short story this weekend, set in the Fallout Equestria universe. I wrote it during a period of dull headedness with the stress of finishing off MN7 and I needed to refresh myself for a couple days. I’m quite happy with it, and while it was noted publically before on some sites, this will be the first “published” release of it.
So there’s the plan for now:

Sunday: Fallout Equestria short story release on FimFic
After that, I want to get working on another MN7 update for those interested in a “behind the scenes” look at the story. I want to do a writeup of all the dropped concepts, cut chapters and unwritten scenes. Some are things that I liked but couldn’t find a place for, while others were ideas that I had then eventually decided were best not to run with. Some of these go back to early planning, some lasted right up until minutes before releasing the finale. Some are so zany, I can’t believe I ever considered them while others are so godawful we can have a laugh together about how I ever gave them consideration for more than five seconds. I'd love to hear about the dropped stuff, and how you determined what to cut and what to keep, especially those bits you hung onto for a while before deciding against.
Totally up for some of those, would be very interesting.
