Hi

It's been a while. I have been up to a lot since we last spoke.

I have found my calling in life. I am double majoring in software engineering and graphic design at my school, Iowa State University. I am doing very well and will most likely join the honors program in the fall. I hope to someday work for Disney, Pixar or Laika studios. I absolutely love animation and I've decided that I wish to pursue a career as either a software developer or an animator.

I don't currently have a working computer, which as you probably could guess, is a big problem. So, my dad made me a bet. If I don't talk till Friday, he'll get me a MacBook. I would prefer Pro, but my dad says Air and I'm not gonna fight his proposal. So long as it has a working battery and it is thin enough that I can take it to class while still having enough room in my backpack for my textbooks, I'm happy.

I am currently seeing a very sweet boy who has a lot of the same interests as me, though I have not asked him about ponies yet. He's a computer engineer in my year and I am very happy.

I know this kind of a random post, but I just really wanted to thank the brony community for giving me the confidence to reach for the stars. I definitely would not have grown up into the lovely young woman I am today without the support of my second family.
