    50 Questions

Last year, around October, Ice Star posted this fun questionnaire and I ask whether I could do it too. The answer was yes but the thing is, I was busy and completely forgot about doing it. Now, as I'm sick in bed, I have time and I can answer (I don't know if that's clear). So, stick with me (if you want to) and let's go!

    It wasn't plan like that

But I happen to be writing a mini thesis about the Brony fandom for one of my College classes about subcultures. Life is amazing!

Why I certainly will be obliged to cancel The Last Flower (and it's breaking my heart)

I know, I know, the story's been on hiatus for at least a year now. But still, I really wanted to keep on writing it and bringing you the rest of the story, once College will leave me enough time to write something on a regular basis. I have really enjoyed creating this post-apocalyptic AU which contained a lot of theme which were dear to me and which, unfortunately, hasn't even been tackled

    Dashie's playlist N°1

Yeah, I know this isn't a story but... I wanted to share with you the playlist of songs I've made which for me fits with Rainbow Dash as I made her in The Truth About Girls. Also, I used to play many of those songs when I was writing this fiction and A Story of Love (Among Others). Hope you'll enjoy, and don't forget to tell me what's your opinion. Thank you

15 details about school in "The Truth About Girls" · 10:53am Jan 2nd, 2017

For those who would wonder how school is going in the fiction, I'd like to clear some points... I've assumed that Equestria was a country somewhere on the American Continent, or maybe an island in the Pacific Ocean ( but well, it snows on winters and it's hot as hell on summers) of an Alternate Universe where it's normal that humans have these strange natural hair and eyes color... Okay, so school is a mix between what's happening in the US and what's happening in Asia.

1) School year starts by the end of August and finish by the end of May.

2) Students stay in their classrooms and teachers come their way.

3) Uniform is mandatory everyday, except on parties and festivals.

4) There's a ball in Spring, a ball in Winter and the prom ball at the end of the 12th Grade.

5) Classes start around 8 A.M and finish around 3 P.M, after this, there are school clubs, sports or... freedom.

6) By the end of each semester, there's a ranking of the best students, with their average written beside their name pinned in the Information Board for everyone to see.

7) Also, by the end of each semester, there are exams to test the student's progression, that will be looked at by universities.

8) Students who are good at sports are more likely to integrate a good university even without the excellent grades that might come with it, so those who are not (good in sports) have to work really hard.

9) PTA is very powerful. If PTA decides a student's bad behavior should make him/her expell, the School Board has no other choice than to expell this student.

10) Festivals are very important and supposed to contribute to the appeal of a school. If their festival and officiel events are famous for being cool and stimulating, the school in questions have more chance to be popular.

11) Middle School starts around the age of 11 and finishes around the age of 14.

12) High School starts around the age of 14 and finishes around the age of 18.

13) There are private schools (not administrated by the national government) which are highly expensive, and public schools, which are relatively free. Private schools are often where the wealthiest students go.

14) Canterlot High is ranked Second in the ranking of Best Public High Schools of Equestria (Crystal Prep being number one).

15) Applejack and Rainbow Dash should have been in private school but chose Canterlot High to be with Twilight and Pinkie.

Interesting. Thanks for the idea

This literally describes my school! Except that, middle school ends at age 12-13 and high school ends at age 15-16. College is at 17-18 :derpytongue2:

But, nice addition with the details!

4366108 Really ? That's interesting

Can I ask you what part of the world do you come from?

4366238 The Middle East. Dubai, to be more specific. :scootangel: (hope you're not one of those people who thinks all Middle Easterns are terrorists, haha)

4366256 Been there for a stop before visiting South Korea (well, I've only seen the airport but whatever :rainbowlaugh: ). I've kept a banknote of 5 dirham as my luck charm :raritywink:

4366330 Ah! That's cool!

4366256
Let's make a club of people who comes from unexpected/unknown/related-to-the-two-I-said-before places! :rainbowlaugh: You have me here, Ecuador, TheMareWhoSaysNi, from France, and you, Dusk Writer, from Dubai. Anyone wants to join in? :rainbowlaugh:

(It doesn't seems weird I just comment in this blog post, does it? I mean, it's from a while back... I just wanted to say it)

4711591
Should have said this before! :rainbowlaugh:

Let's do it... A Brony team from all around the world! :pinkiehappy:

4711623
Come on everypony! All the ones with nationalities than go against the English nature from this site! Everyone can jooooooooin in!

4711839
Maybe we should start a group on this site? Just for the fun of it!

4712140
I'm totally in with that idea! Names? Any suggestion? We should make an specification that everyone that doesn't comes from a nation where the official language is English can join in (because, come on. You totally expect someone from USA or England to be here. It's not that big mystery: The site is in English. Not to exclude anyone, but it would lose the touch of the group since is a "unknown/unexpected nationalities" group or something like that)

4712419
YAY! :yay:

I have no idea! :rainbowlaugh: The Foreigner Ponies? From Equestria and Beyond? Excuse my French?

And maybe we could also help some fanfic writers who struggle with good English? You know, those who gets little love because of their spelling/grammar? With, like advices to write, and rules of grammar... Well, that's just an idea...

4712423

The Foreigner Ponies?

Oh goodness :rainbowlaugh: I love that one!

Yeah! Many of us struggle writing in English. Really, it's extremely hard for me to translate my fanfics. I wish I could post them in here, but they're in spanish, so I can't. And no matter how hard I work, I'm never satisfied with the translation. So, it would be cool some advices from , maybe, experimented foreign *wink* writers.

4712433
Oh, we could keep that one, then

How pity my Spanish being so poor... I would have helped you! Although I also make mistake when translating my own stories, but since I want to be a professional translator, I keep going! Well, this could also be a good way for you to be able to publish your stories. Would be nice to read it!

4712438
Ok, The Foreigner Ponies will be. Would you like to do it or do you prefer that I do it?

Also, have an idea. What if in the group's description we add greetings in as many languages as we can find? Obviously English, since it's the language that would keep us all being able to talk to each other, but we could add Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, etc.

Uuuhhh, Professional Translator? That's cool! And don't worry, it's okay. I'm still learning English, but at least I can survive in this site, so that's a improvement! I've been working on my English for a year now.

4712465
Hm. I don't know! As you're pleased, I'd say  (We're going slow, but at least we're going! :rainbowlaugh:)

That's an excellent idea! Plus, greetings are easy to find on the Internet, even in languages we do not know by ourselves. I like it very much
OK, well I hope one day you'll be able to publish your own stories here! I should would read them

4712499
I'll do it then :raritywink: Yes, and that's process.

Okay, so, I'll be sending you a PM with an "sketch" description of the group later (which you probably will se tomorrow, since, you know, hour difference and there is like 10:00 p.m right now while here is just 4:10 p.m.).

It's cool to know that! I hope I can publish them sometime soon

4712506
Ok! I'm very excited about it! :pinkiehappy:

Yeah, I haven't forgot what we talked about last night! :raritywink:

4712527
Yay!

Last afternoon for me :rainbowlaugh:

4711591
Sounds cool! Why not? xD (Literally just saw this...its like 6 am x3)

4712776
TheMareWhoSaysNi and I already are working on it :raritywink: Guess you will be the first member?

4712776
You wake up very early

4712783
Let's see... Us? :rainbowlaugh:

4712888
I would sleep in if I could haha! School sadly doesn't allow that 😝

4712971
I understand that pain...

4712971
4713349

I don't have school yet I wake up very early... Ok, not as early as you, Duskie (Can I call you Duskie?)

4713575
Meh, when I don't have school I wake up 11/12 p.m. Really.

4713575
Go ahead! xD

4713761
High five! Maybe even later too xD

4713802
That's so Rainbow Dash-like, girls :raritywink:
